ACM Aerospace Expands Internationally in the Air Cargo Sector

ACM Aerospace (Aircraft Cabin Modification GmbH) is expanding its service portfolio in the air cargo sector and entering the business of air cargo containers (ULD). This expansion will be implemented across several company locations, creating numerous new jobs and opening a new site in the Middle East.

ACM Aerospace is pleased to announce its entry into the field of air cargo containers, known as Unit Load Devices (ULD). At its locations in Memmingen (Germany) and Thal (Switzerland), the company will assemble, repair, and offer a comprehensive logistics solution for the storage and transport of ULD containers. From the second quarter of 2025, this business segment will also be expanded to Dubai (United Arab Emirates).

This strategic expansion of the business portfolio underscores ACM Aerospace's commitment to providing innovative and customized solutions for the aviation industry. ULD containers play a central role in the global air freight industry, enabling efficient and secure transportation of goods by aircraft. Expanding into the assembly, maintenance, and logistics of these containers will further strengthen ACM Aerospace's position as a full-service provider in the aviation industry.

Job Creation and Growth

As part of the new business sector, ACM Aerospace plans to create numerous jobs at its Memmingen and Thal locations. In Dubai, a significant number of jobs will also be created starting in Q2 2025, as the site is expanded into a strategic logistics hub for the region. The focus will not only be on the assembly and repair of containers but also on developing efficient storage and transport solutions.

"With our expansion into the ULD business, we aim not only to broaden our product portfolio but also to contribute to the stability of global supply chains in aviation. Our goal is to offer our customers an even broader range of high-quality and efficient solutions," says Roger Hohl, designated Managing Director of ACM Aerospace.

The expansion into the ULD sector is part of ACM Aerospace's long-term strategy to expand its global presence and develop innovative solutions that meet the growing demands of the aviation industry.
